Return Policy

We hope you love your purchase. Some items can't be returned, so please read this policy before you buy. If you have any questions, contact us first, and we'll be glad to help.

Returns
You have 10 days from the day you receive your order to return an item for an exchange or store credit. Items must be unused and in the same condition you received them in.

Final sale items
The following items can't be returned:
- Seasonal items
- Sale items
- Gift cards

How to return a shipped order
1. Email info@backyardbirder.ca within 10 days of receiving your order to get return instructions. Please don't send anything back until you hear from us.
2. Pack the item the same way it was sent to you.
3. Ship it to the address we give you.

You're responsible for return shipping costs. Items damaged on the way back to us can't be credited, so please pack them carefully.

Returns in store
You're welcome to bring your return to our store within 10 days. Please bring your receipt or order number.

Store credit
Approved returns are refunded as a Backyard Birder gift card. Your store credit never expires.
