This is Moraine Lake, in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. It is an alpine lake fed by glacier melt. The sediment often gives the water a distinctive azure hue. Two decades ago, artist Dimitri Sirenko came to Canada from the Ukraine. He trained in Vancouver and worked in the art side of video game development before embarking on his full time art career. I visited this store for the first time today and was amazed by the selection of bird, bat and butterfly houses and feeders. I only went in to get some poles for feeders I already have but I will be back. They also have a wide selection of home and garden gifts.
